16 Thousand TL Will Be Given to Those Who Stay in This Hotel for 10 Days
Scientists have created a quarantine center called the flu hotel to examine the vaccines they have developed in more detail. Volunteers staying in this hotel will be deliberately made sick and will be rewarded with 16 thousand TL for 10 days of quarantine.
Scientists at Saint Louis University in Missouri, United States, are preparing to launch an interesting experiment to measure the effect of the flu vaccines they have developed. Scientists who want to conduct more detailed studies on their vaccines have established a hotel called the Flu Hotel for this purpose.
Customers who will stay in the Flu Hotel, which has the same features as a standard hotel, will have knowingly and willingly agreed to contract the flu. Experiment participants, who will be vaccinated before their stay, will then be exposed to viruses. Volunteers under quarantine in the hotel will be constantly cared for by nurses.
The quarantine period of the volunteers who will participate in the experiment in question will last 10 days. Volunteer participants will be rewarded with 3500 dollars (16 thousand TL) for their contribution to the research. Scientists plan to activate the flu hotel as soon as possible and start their research within 6 months.
Considering that we get the flu 2-3 times on average every year, the fact that the result serves science, free hotel accommodation and earning 16 thousand TL on top of that seems like a good enough option in today's conditions. 🙂
